Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced
Quickbooks was used by the back office of the business as well as by the parent company. The product was used for bookkeeping.

- Not always easy to add accounts to the chart of accounts.
- Confusing view of real time bank account.
- Easy reconciliation of accounts every month.
- Clear reporting that helped understand the direction of the business.
Although the implementation is not too difficult, the assistance and the online help could go through a makeover. However, there is an important online user community that will be helpful if you encounter any issue. The online help can definitively be improved, and that is one of the few cons for using the platform.
Although the parent company was using Quickbooks Online as well, the location was run independently so I cannot give valid feedback on multiple location's collaborations for the products. Online, two people had access to the platform but only as a cloud-based system. We did not use the mobile app.
Quickbooks Online and Zoho Books are the two solutions evaluated and we have both in place with different customers. For this specific customer, Cafe Nomad LLC, there was no choice as the parent company is using Quickbooks Online and their accounting staff had the experience and knowledge of it. For a very small business, Zoho Books is a less expensive solution. Quickbooks Online, however, is a more robust platform that will be more appreciated by accounting staff.
Quickbooks Online is a very solid platform for small to medium businesses. Unlike some concurrent platforms, it is better to have a few bases in accounting to be able to navigate the platform easily. It is a very reliable product that is quite easy to use once you get accustomed to it. It provided a variety of reports and have granular security to allow you to delegate some tasks. Quickbooks Online does offer in-depth records for customers, vendors, products, and services that allow you to well document your business partners and offers.
