Charter School Management Company Navigating QuickBooks

QuickBooks Online Advanced is being used by our finance department for accounting and reporting purposes. It allows the multiple finance members to collaborate simultaneously in a system that is affordable for our company. We also are able to allow additional limited user access to employees in other departments based on their needs.

We switched from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to QuickBooks Online Advanced for the multi-user function and the syncing abilities. The directions given for implementation did not work. Despite updating my QuickBooks Desktop to the latest version, there was no sync/merge to QuickBooks Online Advanced option available (despite what the directions stated). I was able to update/transfer the information to QuickBooks Online Advanced by using a company file in the end.

Our finance team is spread all over the state of Maryland and, especially with the pandemic, we are rarely in the same location. Despite this, all users are able to easily login to QuickBooks Online Advanced with their own username and login information easily and efficiently, as long as they have a secure internet connection.

As new charter school, we needed a management system that was affordable and user friendly. QuickBooks Online Advanced allows us to collaborate during the pandemic from our various remote locations. There are also ample resources available on the QuickBooks website to help increase user knowledge and to maximize our QuickBooks Online Advanced capabilities.
