QuickBooks Online Advance Review

As a firm, we used to rely on QuickBooks Online Advanced for all of our clients bookkeeping/payroll needs. The biggest problem that QuickBooks Online Advanced solved for our firm was that it gave us one platform that would house all of the bookkeeping/payroll information rather than having to use a bookkeeping software alongside a completely different payroll software. I really enjoyed the efficiency of being able to pull payroll tax reports, which made year-end bookkeeping adjustments more efficient. The only issue that I had with QuickBooks Online Advanced, when compared to other bookkeeping software, is the reconciliation of bank accounts. To me, it felt like coding transactions in one screen and then having to go to another screen to reconcile was a wasted step. Especially when we started using other bookkeeping software's that have coding and reconciling all in one step.

The training program for QuickBooks Online Advanced is one of the more thorough training programs for a bookkeeping platform. The training takes you through several different modules and really makes you pay attention to the information that is being provided. Unlike some trainings that you can just skip through a slide show, answer, 3 questions, and then continue about your day.

The cloud based system was a huge benefit of QuickBooks Online Advanced. Our company has locations in different cities about 3 hours apart. With QuickBooks Online Advanced being set up as a cloud based system, employees are able to collaborate in real time and work together if one or more employees have questions/concerns regarding a set of books.

QuickBooks Online Advanced has every function for the bookkeeping/payroll industry. At the end of the day, the layout and reconciliation could be more aesthetically pleasing or more efficient, but QuickBooks Online Advanced has the capability to do everything that a bookkeeper or payroll processor would ever need in order to get the job done.
