Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT
We use Raiser's Edge NXT in our development department in conjunction with our finance department. Raiser's Edge NXT has really helped streamline our donor communication. It allows us the ability to know who in what department has been in contact with our donors and helps us make sure that all of our communications are consistent and positive. It also give us the ability to make sure that we are asking our donor to participate in the projects and initiatives that they want to support, resulting in a much deeper missional connection and extending the longevity of our donor relationships.
Pros
- Excellent donor profiling.
- Great job at recommending appropriate donor follow-up and next steps.
- Puts all the relevant donor information within easy reach for our team in the field.
Cons
- Would like to have some more automated processes for bringing donor communication information from the database such as pledge reminder letters.
- Operational Efficiency
- Increased revenue from existing donors
- Increased scalability due to cloud deployment
This system has allowed us to be consistent in our approach to donors. Due to the scalability, we are now able to get information to our staff that has regular donor contact in an effective and efficient manner. This has in turn allowed us to ask our donors to partner with us in more appropriate and mutually beneficial ways and resulted in increased donor retention.
We are currently utilizing both Financial Edge and Raiser's edge. These two systems communicate seamlessly and have taken what used to be multi-step processes between multiple systems to a simple process with data entry in one system. As a result, information is available faster and with better accuracy than in the past.
Because we are using systems that are non-profit focused, we no longer have to manipulate systems to get what we need for our organization. The systems provided are tailored to our needs giving us the flexibility and availability to focus on our mission instead of utilizing endless processes to manipulate systems to provide what we need.
