Overall Satisfaction with RingEX

As a phone system that enables a business phone number to be provided to clients/partners, making communication easier. It keeps track of the data in a centralized server. We use the regular phone call feature, text messages, and its AI capability to take notes of what's discussed on the call. Besides being available as a transcript, it provides a summary that is helpful when reviewing previous records.

Pros

  • Phone call connectivity.
  • Regular call features (calls, text messages, records of usage).
  • Ability to use a desktop, web, or phone app.

Cons

  • AI notes. While most of it are accurate, there are some parts are not fully correct.
  • Ability to handle multiple language transcription.
  • Phone App sometimes does not reflect the incoming call, and a notification is received of two missed calls, instead, plus a voicemail (assuming there were two phone call attempts to reach me and they left a voicemail in the second call).
  • Positive. Efficiently generating and displaying data.
  • Positive: Call control and setting options that can be adjusted.
  • Positive: Back up records of conversations.
Other than the area of opportunity that I mentioned on the iOS App, of not getting calls on time and a notification instead of the missed call, every time I've used the system, it has been available. Therefore, it is reliable and has not let me down in a time-sensitive case I needed to handle.
It does provide a unified solution for business communications to increase productivity and efficiency, while also helping businesses collaborate more easily with internal and external parties. However, for internal communication within the organization, we handle it via the email domain server rather than RingEX. No specific reason, it is just what we're used to, and it has worked ok.
  • JustCall, Skype (discontinued) and Aircall
From the user perspective, JustCall and Aircall gave you the ability to listen to the recorded call. RingEX's taking notes feature is great, just not 100% accurate. Therefore, I would say having the ability to access the recording calls in the user interface can be very useful. Other than that, they are just visually different, and most of the features are similar.

Do you think RingEX delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with RingEX's feature set?

Yes

Did RingEX live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of RingEX go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy RingEX again?

Yes

In my opinion is well-suited to separating business from personal life. It gives the ability to set up automated messages, which is a good feature to keep the balance and stick to the business hours of operation. However, there are some people who do not feel comfortable when the message "AI is taking notes" is said by the AI system, especially if it is a person you are calling for the first time. I understand that the feature can be enabled and disabled, yet doing it manually can lead to it being disabled when it is needed. In addition, it is best for short phone calls. If you need to reach out to an insurance company, for instance, having a long hold time, those features might not be too relevant.
