Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

Rippling is the HR solution we use at Rain Retail, and I use it mainly for timecard management, time off management, overtime, and scheduling. Rippling makes sure that we know the details when we need to know them, and at other times the UI is streamlined and useful. When I am approving my team's timecards, the system is clean and useful. When I want to see how many hours an individual contributor has accrued, I know how to get there easily.

Pros

  • Clean UI, responsive in mobile as well as desktop
  • Easy login and pairs well with an authenticator app
  • Easy to make changes to timecards when needed

Cons

  • "Time & Attendance" and "Time Off" could have different names. When I look for the first word, I sometimes click into the wrong area.
  • Sometimes I don't realize when I'm in the Admin account or Employee account view - an at-a-glance indicator would be useful in the top right of the screen.
  • Rippling has helped save hours of time each week by giving employees a clean and useful way to request changes to their timecards.
  • Rippling has helped us to disseminate the org chart to everyone, helping them to understand the structure of the teams around them.
I only needed to contact Rippling support once, but the issue was quickly resolved after I did. It was not the fastest response but it was good.

Yes

The system has a good and clean UI, and I love how responsive it is in mobile. I believe I can depend on it to look good, even if there are future updates. I know where to go for each item and function within Rippling, such as for making changes to an employee's break time.
I find Rippling to be very useful for timecards and time off management. It is nice and clear when I want to edit timecards and make changes, or when my team wants to make Change Requests. I don't think Rippling is as strong in regards to workflow and task management - I use monday.com for those functions.
