Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Rippling as an employee in my company, clocking time, requesting time off, having a full breakdown of tasks completed, as well as accessing paystubs and tax documents. It's even got an area to complete work related training. Rippling has made it easy to access everything I need in one place, where as my previous employers used separate programs for clocking time and accessing documents.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Easy navigation and access
Multi-use features like clocking time, training, and easy access to paystubs and tax documents
Live notifications of payments and time approvals
Tracking of PTO hours available and used

Cons

Navigation on mobile is a little limited.
Bright white background is a little hard on the eyes, adding a dark mode feature would be nice!
Should be allowed to update legal name on associated banking account for deposits without having to completely remove the linked account and re-adding it with the updated info.

Return on Investment

Takes the stress out of tracking tasks and time, and the mobile feature helps when I have to work away from home
Makes it easy to find and access tax documents when I'm ready to file
Available paystubs break down the time down to the task completed

Alternatives Considered

QuickBooks Online

This was the previous program my company used before switching to Rippling. Rippling is a massive improvement. I didn't personally select Rippling, but I'm glad my employer did because it's made things so much easier. Not just for features, but the UI is great. Previous programs I've used have had issues with logins and other technical problems that would interfere with work.

Support Rating

I've once experienced an issue with payment that support immediately fixed in less than a few minutes. Haven't experienced any other problems since that incident. They're on it.

Usability

Everything is laid out in front of you, organized in neat tabs. There's no complex scrolling between dozens of pages to get to where you need to be. I love the simplicity, and it runs smoothly with no lag. Everything is accessible within one or two clicks. All of the information you need is broken down in easy to understand formats and detail.

Rippling pretty much covers all of the basic needs an employee can have when working with a company. Multi-use functions from time tracking to taxes. It even have a feature called "org chart" that shows the hierarchy of ownership, management, and supervisors in the company you work for. I don't really think this is a necessary feature, but it's pretty neat regardless.
