Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
We use Rippling as our HR tool. We use it as a system of record for staff and to control onboarding/offboarding and ensure compliance and control of access. We use some of the training options, mostly to control other 3rd party training options we have; with Rippling, we can have one training console for admins rather than 3 or 4. It keeps training simple.
Pros
- Simple and clean interface (just the buttons you need).
- Can administer many 3rd party training platforms.
- Very easy to configure detailed reports to be set or shared with other teams, so they do not need access to the HR tool.
Cons
- Native API integrations are limited esp. on SIEMs and GRC tools.
- Self paced admin training is weak for the product.
- CVS format is not available for a lot of reports, you must use pdf.
- Rippling was much cheaper than previous tool over 100K a year.
- We have to do a lot more manual report generation and uploading, but the workflow is simple, and even with the additional work, we are way ahead in cost savings compared to our old, much more complex HR tool.
- Rippling provides greater access control for onboarding and offboarding, especially when someone changes job roles.
- Workday Workforce Management and ADP Enterprise HR
Rippling is far easier and cheaper to use. It just does not have the deep integration with a wide range of SIEM and GRC tools, but we appreciate Rippling's simplicity. Rippling handles the basics we need VERY well with little admin effort, and, if properly configured, we have much better access control in place now.
