Overall Satisfaction with Rubrik

This is being used across all of our organization. This addresses the need that we had for a scalable backup product that sits in our data center. We also wanted it to be able to tier to cloud. We appreciate the API’s and will be using that further in the future.

The licensing and scalability were definite factors. We like that Rubrik can grow with buying as many or as little nodes that we need. We also like that not everything has to be stored on brick. It can be tiered off to deep and cheap cloud storage. Overall we like that it is not tape.

We really like the use in the VMware environment. We can trust that all VM’s will be backed up with at least the minimum policy. We also can adjust that policy to give the critical business functions higher importance and priority. Since they are fairly new, not all features are fully baked. Oracle has a way to go before it would be best on market.

Rubrik Support

We usually receive a quick response and they typically gather together many resources to work on our issues. The support team is very knowledgeable and can speak with authority on their respective pieces of the pie. We have asked for support at times for things that were not necessarily their problem and they still jumped in and provided support.

We do have premium support. We typically purchase this with our contracts so that we can ensure success. Out of the many products that we have, this seems to be asker to administrate, yet the contract has provided a lot of value. We will continue to renew this contract in the future.
We have had issues with our tier 0 application before and that application provided one employee on a call looking to resolve the issue. Rubrik provided half a dozen experts on various topics and aspects. It shows that they take issues seriously and when it is important to you, they make it important to them.
