Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
I use it for Accounting. Recording transactions and generating reports on a daily basis.
Pros
- Exporting data to Excel
- Uploading journal entries
Cons
- running financial reports with less limitations on "building"
- clearer navigation within the software
- it gets the job done
- not user friendly
I love intercompany transactions, consolidated financials, and the ability to schedule a reversing journal entry!
I have a company that has about 10 different entities, so consolidated financials with the ability to easily run intercompany transactions is such a life-saver!
Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?
No
Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
Sage is much better for consolidated financials and intercompany transactions, but not as user-friendly as QuickBooks. I do also like that Intacct has controls overbooking any cash-related entries--that you cannot delete, you must back out and enter and re-book. This is great for more experienced accountants, however, if you are a novice or bookkeeping, this may be obnoxious for you if you frequently book/update your entries.
