Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used plenty of ERP systems and accounting systems. but I have not seen an accounting system this easy to use. the reports are easy to run. The Accounts payable process is very streamlined and has the tools to make payments go out easy. the upload portion is simple to create and saves plenty of hours. reclassing is a couple of buttons and easy to do. it makes accounting enjoyable

Sage Intacct Automation

we recently automated our portion of accounts payable, our fellowship payments which were made by a customized database, so that people could insert the information needed. the website will create vendor ID cards and banking information and bill excel uploads. this made it easy for us by taking the information and uploading it into the intact system. this made the rush of fiscal year end and getting this information in as soon as possible.

Sage Intacct Extensibility

I have used Time and expense management. it was going to be used to track expenses and not a Human Resources system like it was allowed to. it was a good product because it would remove the reimbursements from the normal aging report. it would not confuse certain items. to see we used time and expense correctly to what I saw it was a good product and had great potential

Sage Intacct Configuration

We had another 3rd party expense system help us out with the integration to another system. It was very fast and simple. the person asked us for permission to get some part of the system. he turn on some options which allowed him to do certain changes. 5 minutes later he was done and the software was working. it looks simple for him and I feel paid more attention i could do it myself.

Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT and Microsoft Dynamics 365

Sage intact is better than most of the products I have used. I feel that it's always upgrading itself to be a better product, and it always allowing programs to have a streamlined integration. I feel Financial Edge's bank reconciliation would always disconnect and the system would take days to fix itself. which is intact everything integrated is connected and a strong connection

Likelihood to Recommend

they are pretty good at accounting. if everything is fixed to the liking of your organization. In another nonprofit we used Blackbaud. which is good with all products. intact you can connect it to other software it does not have to just be Blackbaud products. we have concur connected to the intact and we have Microsoft CRM. I would like to see how it keeps track with inventory and commisions.
