Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct for our invoicing and recurring billing. We can track AR and use the many reporting features available to us. We can email invoices to customers for auto payments and track communication sent. Intacct has multiple report capabilities and can filter out per product family, which is important for our company. We sell three different products and like to filter out revenue relative to each product.

Pros

  • Recurring Billing.
  • The ability to name invoices with specific details.
  • The ability to run reports on product families.
  • The ability to track revenue schedules.
  • Easily void payments.
  • Easily create credit memos.

Cons

  • Updating customer information.
  • Recurring Billing Customers - the ability to avoid invoices being paid if a customer is set up as a recurring billing customer. Only recurring invoices should be paid.
  • Duplicating an invoice that has an incorrect address, but you have updated the customer's address details.
  • Sage Intacct streamlines our financial processes, providing real-time visibility into our data.
  • The automation of Intacct reduces our manual tasks, saving us time and increasing our productivity.
  • Intacct integrates with Versapay so we can collect payments quickly.
Yes, we have benefited from this automation, which has streamlined our workflows across our three product lines. Automating these processes has greatly improved any manual errors, leading to more reliable financial data.
I personally have not used these modules.
Although I was not personally involved in configuring the system, I believe it was a seamless process with no glitches. From start to finish, everything was done quickly and without any significant issues or delays.
We previously used saasoptics (which is now Maxio). It was much more complex and tedious and did not serve our type of business well. There were too many manual calculations necessary to track our software orders. The software was purchased by a new owner who knew nothing about our business to make a proper evaluation. We are currently also using Chargebee. While Chargebee has some great features, I do feel that Intacct far exceeds both of these products in terms of usability.

Sage Intacct is easy to learn and very user-friendly. It's easy to create filters and manage views for a particular user.
