Overall Satisfaction with SAP Sales Cloud

The Sales and the Service team uses SAP Sales Cloud for their daily job, with the advantage of sharing one tool and having a 360 view of the customer. The integration of SAP Sales Cloud with Outlook allows a quick way of tracking the sales agenda in the tool and the integration with the ERP system allow the sales team to process sales orders quickly.

Pros

  • Sales Quote management
  • Ticket management
  • Opportunity Pipelines

Cons

  • Better Outlook integration: especially contacts exchange
  • Improve the integration with SAP Marketing Cloud
It improved the lead to order process. With the integration with SAP Marketing Cloud we have leads coming in C4C, following the sales process and becoming first an estimate for the customers with a sales quote and then an order in the ERP system. With the approval process set up in C4C, it allows the sales operation team to process the orders faster and more efficiently
It is helping the sharing of the data between departments and a more efficient process, but the limitation on the integration is not helping the quick collaboration.

Using SAP Sales Cloud

500 - The sales users manage the process from the leads to the opportunities, completing their sales with a sales quote that is then converted into an order in the ERP system. They also synchronize their agenda in C4C.
The service users support the customers using the ticket management tool and insert the information of the registered products and installed base in the system.
3 - We are 3 SAP Sales and Service administrators supporting the users on a daily basis. Making sure the system is working properly every day and also working on improvement projects on the system and in the overall system architecture. We work constantly on the user adaptation, making sure the system is used by the users.

  • FSM
  • lead collection during a tradeshow
It is a robust tool, but there are still some missing functionalities that do not allow me to insert a 10 to 10.
The integration with other SAP systems is strong and easy to establish.
Overall, it is a good tool, even if there are a few improvements needed. I am expecting more improvements with v2.
