Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing HC3

Scale Computing HC3 has been implemented as a replacement for the client's old VMware environment. The client wanted a more substantial and reliable virtual platform for their business. They have multiple remote sites and remote users, in which they wanted to provide a seamless user environment to all users. They have 6 virtual servers and 16 virtual desktops. The HC3 platform has fulfilled the client's current needs and should carry them well into the future.

  • Easy overall management
  • Support, They have provided prompt top tier support on thier products
  • Snapshot management has room for improvements, more recovery options, export options, etc.
  • Image import/export could encompass more virtual image types.
They have always provided excellent support promptly.
We run a appointment management Database on HC3 systems, its a critical app for the company. Runs flawlessly and if we experience a problem recovery is quick and easy.
  • When positioned with the right customer the ROI can be huge.
So far Scale Computing provides a more reliable and scale-able solution compared to the others.
Any business with greater than average amount of servers or remote desktops would be an excellent opportunity for deployment of the Scale Computing HC3. Small businesses with one or 2 servers, in my opinion, would not enjoy the benefits that the Scale platform affords.

It didnt take long for me to get up to speed on using this app, a short walk through by the Scale support team was all I needed.
I had a client who was several releases behind, after contacting support they quickly worked with me and although there were a few issues during the upgrade process were able to get 7 updates (including a couple major releases) installed all while keeping production running without any downtime!
