Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic

Being used across IT for monitoring servers using SNMP.
  • Actually I do not think it does anything well in term of price, feature set vs the competition.
  • If you like old UIs this is great.
  • Support SNMP.
  • UI and graphs are a complete mess. User friendliness was not great.
  • The product is over priced vs open source solution vs what we got out of the product.
  • Support was not g reat either given what we paid of product.
  • It replaced HPOM.
  • I has not impacted my business objective in a measureable way.
  • Automatic closing of incidents is nice for issues that are self-resolve/healing.
Yes - Replaced HPOM. Aging platform that was worse than SL currently offering.
It did not change our visibility in a measureable meaning way that I am aware of.
I am not using the product to support new or current business growth.
It integrated with ServiceNow for ticket open and closing depending on the situation.

SL stacks up against poorly vs Solarwinds SAM in features, cost, and time to implement.
I do not believe it's well suited for anything given the current landscape in the industry and the ability to deliver innovation to the customer.
