Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Slack has become one of the most important software programs that we use. It's used throughout our business to communicate with our team on all projects. It's really helped us stay organized whereas before we would communicate through email, text, Facebook Messenger, etc. Before it was a giant mess to find where information/files were located and now it's all managed through Slack.

Notifications - for some reason, notifications have been a little bit of a challenge for us where they don't pop up right away.
Naming functionality - everything is lowercase and one word which can make you go a little crosseyed when trying to read a name.

Alternatives Considered

HipChat

I hated HipChat. It was clunky, not userfriendly, and just didn't work for us. Slack is the standard in this industry and we'd never go to a different option.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think that Slack has a place in any business that utilizes a team, especially if you are working on multiple projects at one time. It's also great if you struggle with communication taking place through many different mediums.
