Overall Satisfaction with Slack
We use Slack for collaborative work and for asking and answering quick questions immediately. It's used across our entire organization. As a company with offices on two coasts, it's extremely helpful for dealing with small issues that arise, working together on specific projects, getting immediate feedback, sending documents and links, and planning our next foosball game.

- A seamless experience between the desktop version and the app.
- Search capabilities.
- Formatting can be tough to figure out.
- Jumping back to old conversations.
- Slack has greatly improved our ability to work with our sister office.
- Setting up Slack integrations has helped us keep certain data points top of mind.
- We've seen less time spent in meetings and more time spent working on specific projects.
Slack makes it easier to have more organized conversations than Google Hangouts. I have not tested Slack's video capabilities before, so Hangouts may be better at that. Slack also makes it much easier to work on specific documents, something that Google Hangouts can't really compare to.
