Overall Satisfaction with Slack

We are a fully remote organization, so we use it for essentially all of our communication!

Pros

  • Easy to chat.
  • Easy to stay organized with separate channels.
  • Easy to take individual notes.

Cons

  • Sometimes it updates without any advance notice or explanation of the changes, which can be hard to navigate.
  • It has made it easier to communicate and work faster.
I found the layout of Slack easier to navigate, particularly the sidebar with the list of channels. I also found Slack to have more features, integrations, etc.

Yes

For any organization that has any remote component, Slack is the perfect tool! I have used other tools such as Teams, but have found the layout of Slack much simpler and easier to navigate.
