Overall Satisfaction with Slack

We have used Slack to communicate and collaborate. A huge number of people were connected, and a digital community was formed. Slack is excellent for this. Also, several automations and integrations have been put into our Slack. This helps us get everything together and organized and reduces overhead. WE use it for team communication but also for one-on-one communication.

Pros

  • Jointly collaborating in Office 365 documents.
  • Onboarding time for new users.
  • Automations has reduced costs.
  • Fewer other tools are needed due to automated workflows.
  • Less communication is needed, resulting in lower friction costs.
Slack is designed from a user perspective. You can clearly see this in everything. It works intuitively, has a clear ui, and is easy and fun to use. Compare that to MS Teams, for example, it is way too complicated. Slack really loves design and that is visible in all of its flows.
Ease of use is a game-changer. Slack works so intuitively. People started collaborating automatically, and digital communities started to appear. We haven't seen that kind of engagement with other tools or workflows. It makes working together fun, and that is something that makes people go back to Slack all of the time.

It is well-suited for large teams and organizations to collaborate. It is easy to create new channels and start collaborating. Boundaries for reaching out to colleagues are easily crossed. It makes it so much easier to work together. When you need to work a lot on the same documents or files, and when your company is Office 365-focused, it is a little harder to work together.
