Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
It is used by myself to provide remote support to my entire customer base including home and business users. It solves the need for me to travel to each client as I would have to do years ago, saving a huge amount of time, cost and improving customer satisfaction as response times are quicker.
- Simple to use, very intuitive.
- Good layers of security, gives confidence.
- Easy deployment and small application for the end user.
- Could do with some modernisation as it feels quite old fashioned.
- Monthly payment plans would be super helpful for business cash flow.
- Would be great to see the use of Windows Hello instead of typing a password to connect to a machine.
- Saved hundreds of pounds in fuel and travel costs!
- Encouraged customers to ask for support as they can get quick support and don't need to pay for an on-site visit. Average saving of £30 per session.
- On the downside, using Splashtop has reduced the number of on-site visits, so fewer profits! But have been able to get more in a working day.
I feel that the application and system is very robust and secure. I have confidence that my sessions are secure and I like the 2FA when logging into a new machine.
I was very impressed with the onboarding, the trial was great and I spoke with one of the reps via email who answered all my question and even added some extra subscription for the first year which sealed the deal! I managed to work it out very quickly and was impressed. No issues.
Yes - TeamViewer - great tool but became ever so expensive. Prohibitively so for the size of my business and I couldn't carry on using it.
