Splashtop Remote Access Solution
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We are a small company with a hybrid setup. I am responsible for some software installations and program troubleshooting. Splashtop allows me to schedule time during other users' downtime so that I can access their machines without also disrupting their regular workday. We also have a user who uses it to from home to access software from a shared office computer.
Pros
- Remote Access
- Remote Restarts
- Multi-Monitor Support
Cons
- On occasion the remote restart does not work and leaves me stuck.
- Adding some sort of reminder that popped up to notify a user that they have a scheduled Splashtop session planned could be beneficial.
- Upping the base user amount from 10 to 15 or 20 would be beneficial. Especially considering that I work for a company with 16 employees.
- Strictly positive as it's allowed me to perform updates efficiently and most importantly during the other users downtime.
Splashtop meets all my needs.
Splashtop was easy to get started with and share with other users to get them added to my Splashtop account.

Evaluating Splashtop and Competitors
- Scalability
- Ease of Use
The most important thing was finding a program that provided the minimum tools I would need to complete remote updates while also fitting into a good price point with a license for the number of users at my company.
I have not reason to believe I would have chosen anything differently.
