Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We are a managed services IT firm. In the past, we used LogMeIn and GoToMyPC for years but prices kept climbing. Stumbled on Splashtop about 10 years ago and been with them since!
Great price, loads of features and in the rare situation we need support, it's readily available.
We have the streamer installed on all our managed services and break fix clients, allowing us to manage those machines and quickly connect to see the system when a user has an issue.
We also have a link to the deployment app on our website for situations where Splashtop is not installed on the problem machine. We direct the user to our website, click the link, install the app and we are resolving their problem within minutes.

Pros
- Works on Linux, Mac and Windows PCs
- Can connect to user's computers from a desktop or even a phone
- Depending on the level of the subscription, a wide range of features are available - file transfer, remote printing and sound, system remote management and monitoring
Cons
- Not many drawbacks
- Lets us quickly connect to a problem computer to focus on the problem at hand
- The cost vs. other products is much lower and enables us to roll this out to many more machines.
Allowing remote access to all your client's computers can be a bit unnerving (and at least 1 RMM company was breached, allowing the scammers to attack the computers of all the clients of all the MSP customers of that RMM), but Splashtop's verification, MFA and encryption seems to be as good as it can be.
Onboarding with Splashtop, years ago, took a minimal amount of time! Create your account / purchase a subscription, set up a deployment executable and send it out to each computer.
Setting up groups either with different deployment apps or later to move devices around was as simple and fast as it could be.

Yes - We moved from LogMeIn and GoToMyPC to splashtop because those seemed to be focused on enterprises with larger wallets. Their prices kept going up each year without much / any additional features to justify the cost.
