Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We use Splashtop Enterprise for all our devices. It allows us to provide support at any time the device has internet access. The IT Department offers easy access, enabling us to support our staff efficiently. Windows OS Patch management is also essential, as well as providing a user with emergency access to a network device.
Pros
- Remote Control.
- Access to a central network device for application sharing.
- Windows 11 patch management.
Cons
- 1-to-many actions needs refinement.
- I feel it needs better support, especially for enterprise customers. Seems like the same support for Home, Business, and Enterprise customers.
- Purchase for Enterprise is not defined well. Or assign dedicated sales rep.
- Time savings to support the user and device.
- Splashtop pricing is cost effective vs other products.
I feel confident that Splashtop is secure. It uses multiple authentication processes. Combined with Bitdefender, I think it's a definite match.
In terms of the Enterprise version, onboarding of the software was a little tricky. You need to create several profiles for various devices. Better support would make the process easier.
Yes - Splashtop replaced TVNC. We replaced it with Splashtop for device management and increased security. Splashtop web console access was the deciding factor, along with the ability to avoid requiring users to VPN into the network.
