Pros
- Splashtop allows us to send a branded link to our customers for installation on their computer.
- Splashtop provides as much security over the connection as any of our customers has required, giving them more peace of mind.
- Splashtop has several file sharing features which makes sending or receiving files a simple process.
Cons
- Finding areas for improvement is difficult. Our use case might be simpler than others and we have not found any missing features or issues which need improvement.
- Using Splashtop has saved us thousands of dollars in travel expenses. It has been a great investment.
- Splashtop has given us a way to quickly connect to a remote computer and evaluate the needs of our customers, similar to being on-site with our own computer on their network. Super helpful.
- Having Splashtop as an available resource has given us peace of mind because we know we can use it to make a connection anytime we need.
Splashtop has met our needs, providing us with a secure remote access and support solution.
Our customers have also been happy with the way Splashtop defaults to a more secure connection, requiring us to log into the remote computer.
This wasn't our experience when compared to some of the Splashtop competitors we also looked at early on.

We initially used a trial of the Splashtop Business Support software and that trial was very easy to implement and went very well.
Once the trial expired, we signed up for the plan that suited our needs and have not looked back.
We can tell that Splashtop's solution is scalable and will provide what we need for years to come.

Yes - We have tried several different remote desktop solutions over the past 20+ years:
-We've tried the native Windows Remote Desktop Connection and in general it worked fairly well, however it isn't always an option, depending on the version of OS our customers are running and how their networks are configured.
-We've tried some of the free RNC based solutions, but these typically had more setup and configuration requirements than was "convenient" for us and our customers.
-We've tried the Google Chrome Remote Desktop, but that again had the limitations imposed by our customer's software and setup. Setup and configuration issues for us and our customers limited our enthusiasm for the product.
-We tried TeamViewer, which is probably the most analogous comparison to Splashtop. However, we found their pricing model to be unreasonable when compared to Splashtop and they did not provide any features we needed that couldn't be provided by Splashtop, so why pay more?
