Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
I'm now using Splashtop to manage over 200 endpoints remotely, this mainly involves patching and on demand support. I'm a solo MSP who works with another MSP for providing cover, Splashtop allows me to connect to his clients on a one off basis without any security worries of lingering dial-in abilities outside of agreed cover periods.
Pros
- Dual Screen Support
- System Status clear and easy to find
- Excellent native Windows and Android Apps
- Screen Recording without the performance hit
Cons
- 3rd party patch management
- Machines can take a while to report online after reboots.
- Multi-monitor support is excellent
- Ease of use means shorter remote sessions increases client satisfaction
- Session history allows for trend analysis
Splashtop ticks all our security boxes, device verification and encryption allows deployment in military supply chains etc. Due to being a solo MSP I can't review the internal security (per staff access controls etc)
Really easy to get going, access within minutes of customer installing the streamer, scripted installs work fine with minimal work needed.
Yes - Upgraded from using the Splashtop for RMM with Syncro. The extra features are worth the low cost.
