Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
It's being used mainly by the IT department, which helps us manage and troubleshoot computers at the head office and branch offices. Sometimes, we also invite external users to conduct a one-time remote session.
Pros
- The connection speed is fast.
- Support multiple monitors.
- Easy to manage users.
- A remote wake-up computer.
- Identifies software and OS vulnerabilities.
Cons
- Better full-screen support.
- Very cost-effective RMM solution.
- Makes IT support a lot easier.
- Very customizable using group policies.
It supports MFA for authentication, which is good, and we get alerts as well if someone tries to log in first time.
Onboarding was easy; we just used group policy to push out the installation and group them into different groups based on the location and usage.
Yes - TeamViewer, it was expensive and less secure.
