Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
Splashtop's remote access has been a very important tool in my business. It has allowed me to connect with my client's office computers to either train them on how to do certain task or to pull the data I need to complete the task. It's also been nice to share my screen or vice versa when it comes time to review financials or important notices.
Pros
- There is no lag in remoting to a clients pc
- I can share my screen with anyone
- I can transfer files from their pc to mine or vice versa
Cons
- Can't think of one
- Positive impact is the time I have to get task done. Before Splashtop it was always driving to clients and attending to their issues and spending time driving to and from clients. Now with the ease of remoting in, I can pop in and out quickly and still continue my workload and not waste time on driving.
I do like the two -factor authentication and I also like the 2nd layer access code requested when remoting in. I like how I can customize what computers can be viewed by other team members.
Splashtop makes onboarding super easy. Even when adding other computers to your list, you can use their default invitation link or customize one of your own.
Yes - Splashtop replaced GoToMyPC, Teamview and Remote Desktop.
