Splashtop Review
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We have been used this solution since last year for our whole organization. It's main features is it provides a concurrent remote access to the end pc and we can easily access the logs and it is very easy to implement for our organization. We are using Splashtop onpremisis solution, it is also a light resource consumption. We can also configure 2MFA to the users also and we can separate the users according to the roles. Sometimes we get some problem while using the software that we are facing login credentials in the streamer while it had to required deployment code. Also, it shows pc is offline however the pc is not offline.
Pros
- Centralized log management
- Concurrent users access
- Assign pc according to roles
- It supports in all platform
Cons
- we can not see that who is connected to the PC for how long
- when we connect to AD using LDAP, it can not import the user that has been added after the group is imported
- Remote connection is weak during the internet is slow
- it provides good ROI for our organization
- it is easy to use and implement
- it gives the flexibility for the users who want to connect to the endpc
It does meet our needs very well and the features of Splashtop is also very good for 2FA and it also provide the user groups it are role based and we can also import users and group from the AD with LDAP function. It also provides a secure remote access for the end pc.
Overall the Splashtop product works very well and we are using the slashtop since a last year and we get the support from the Splashtop suport when we get some issue. The experince while using the Splashtop is very good and it provides the need that our orginazation need. It provides the good bandwidth also.
Yes - Before we are using the Splashtop, our organization used VNC for secure remote access but the Splashtop replace the product with their centralized console and easy to use. VNC has different problem while using the product. Splashtop gives us full visibility for the remote session. In VNC we cannot connect the pc that are not in the domain but Splashtop provides that features also
