Overall Satisfaction with Sprout Social

Sprout is used in our organization, both by students and career staff, for social media management. The main features used are publishing, scheduling, Sprout queue, and reporting. It has also provided a streamlined path for reporting, which is something we have not had before. So far, so great with Sprout!

Pros

  • Reporting
  • Competitor reports.
  • Publishing capabilities.

Cons

  • Competitor info is still not fully updated in a timely manner.
  • Integrate with Trello.
  • Allow for adding in-app audio into Reels/videos.
  • Reporting is more consistent.
  • Reporting provides a baseline to build upon.
  • Publishing provides less manual efforts daily to share posts.

It is extremely user-friendly, and there is a lot of training and courses available to help others on the team learn how to use the platform.

Well-suited: It is great for reporting and relaying progress to management in an understandable way. Less appropriate: It may not be as needed if it's only a one-person team.
