Teamviewer is an amazing tool that works perfectly for work and personal stuff. As a freelancer, you need to stay connected to your home PC to check renders progress and files that you don't want to carry around on your laptop or iPad. At work you don't need to walk around the office to ask for feedback or something, you just send a message to your lead and he/she can check your work from his/her PC making everything faster.

- There's only positive impact, if you like to feel free to work outside and have total access and control over your home pc by remote control using Team viewer, this is the best tool around
The above was the first software for screen share, remote control and file transfer that I used. I already used chrome RD and stuff like that, and well isn't bad... but Teamviewer is really fast and is really stable.
