Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer is software used by our organization for remote access and managing work. Its use increased a lot during the pandemic when everyone started working from home. It has helped the company work remotely from their office desktops and access their office network to share secure files. Since I work for a bank, data security is very important and we share things using only our office network. During the pandemic since we could not visit offices, we had to find a way to share things securely. That is when TeamViewer came into play, by allowing us to remotely use our office desktops and share things securely from the office network.
Pros
- It allows you to remotely access your system from anywhere.
- It allows you to keep an eye on what your subordinates are doing.
- It allows you to manage your team, even from home.
Cons
- It requires a strong internet connection. Since at home network speed varies it is sometimes difficult to connect.
- Multiple remote connections at the same time should be allowed on the same desktop for better management.
- The user interface could be improved upon for a better experience.
- It kept our business going during the pandemic.
- The ROI was 7 times as much because it made working a lot easier.
- The setup cost is minimal and the team was very quick to integrate the software with the bank's servers.
I have also worked on Zscaler as it was a previous partner for remote services, but due to the lack of many necessary features and time for integration, this software was dropped and TeamViewer was accepted. Zscaler has many drawbacks in comparison. TeamViewer has more solutions to offer and is the go-to software.

It helped the organization's employees work from home during the pandemic. Additionally, [TeamViewer] helped them meet the targets and also helped managers see how the team is doing from home, which made productivity better. Since going to the office was a challenge, [TeamViewer] made life easier and helped the business run smoothly.
Having bank security is our major priority and the main aim is to secure our customers' data from frauds. These security features were the ones that led us to move towards this product more. It is secure, fast, user-friendly, and provides a lot of features in addition to the safety it offers.
