Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

Nothing special implementation in our case included binding with local ad and presenting user groups. In general, it went easier than implementing Office 365. Also, documentation and knowledge base is regularly updated and a good source of knowledge, should any issues happen along the way, but in our case, there were none.
TeamViewer is vastly used in my organisation for remote support offered to our client infrastructure. So far it is primary software and mostly used at our client side. It offers stability and security as well as easy unattended access if it needs to be configured. So far, in 99.9% of cases, we are using TeamViewer.

Pros

  • RDP
  • Fileshare
  • Unattended access

Cons

  • Licencing
  • Less adds
  • Easy installation
  • No travel
  • Remote employees
  • Cost saving on fuel
  • SLA speed
To see the benefits of fully licenced software in this case is almost instant. We cut the costs on fuel and etc...
In general, TeamViewer is positioned better for cross-platform support, and it is most common on enterprise infrastructure machines. It integrates easily and offers a level of security. Also, access is possible to users who are not admins, unlike AnyDesk, which allows us to provide remote user support without additional complications.

Yes

Did TeamViewer live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of TeamViewer go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy TeamViewer again?

Yes

Anybody who has a need to remotely access different devices should primarily consider TeamViewer. Also, it is cross platform compatible, meaning you can remote even on an Android device if needed. If you are in the field of support, definitely one of the primary tools in the toolbox. Not sure if it's possible to be in the MSP business without it.

Hello Damir Thank you for sharing your perspective. Its great to hear how strongly you value reliable crossplatform remote access especially when supporting a wide range of devices. When those capabilities are essential TeamViewer really does stand out as a perfect fit for the requirement. Its ability to connect across operating systems including mobile platforms like Android makes it a powerful and dependable tool for anyone in support or MSP environments. Your point about it being a primary tool in the toolbox really underscores how central remote access is to modern IT work and its encouraging to know TeamViewer continues to meet that standard for you. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with TeamViewer. Best YingTeamViewer
