Great software for remote support
Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer is vastly used in my organisation for remote support offered to our client infrastructure. So far it is primary software and mostly used at our client side. It offers stability and security as well as easy unattended access if it needs to be configured. So far, in 99.9% of cases, we are using TeamViewer.
Pros
- RDP
- Fileshare
- Unattended access
Cons
- Licencing
- Less adds
- Easy installation
- No travel
- Remote employees
- Cost saving on fuel
- SLA speed
To see the benefits of fully licenced software in this case is almost instant. We cut the costs on fuel and etc...
In general, TeamViewer is positioned better for cross-platform support, and it is most common on enterprise infrastructure machines. It integrates easily and offers a level of security. Also, access is possible to users who are not admins, unlike AnyDesk, which allows us to provide remote user support without additional complications.
