Overall Satisfaction with Todoist: To-Do List & Task Manager

Todoist is the central hub for all of our project management, task delegation, and workflow; we use it to group all of our projects by product, break out the necessary tasks, attach the relevant documents and links, and track progress by project and by team member. It is easily our single most used and relied upon tool.

  • Excellent GUI that makes creating, editing, and managing projects quick and easy
  • Well thought-out feature set
  • Continual updating and new feature roll-outs
  • Fantastic value
  • Understanding the different views takes a little getting used to
  • List of direct supported integrations is a little sparse
  • Easy reminder/alarm setting
  • Google Assistant integration
  • Mobile widget
  • Toggle between list and board view for projects
  • We are waaaay more productive overall!
  • Better delegation and tracking gives me a better ROI from our VA's and outsourcing
  • A better sense of control over our overall progress
We moved from Basecamp to Todoist.

As a 5-year Basecamp user (and fan), it was quite a leap to shift over to Todoist, but it was a crucial move, giving us far greater productivity, and better cross-platform and cross-team functionality.

Our business model - development & marketing of training materials and courseware - is a very iterative process: course materials are constantly being updated based on new resources, technology changes, and member feedback, which then has to be reflected in our marketing efforts.

As such, there is a constant stream of new to-do's. Without a quick, easy, cross-platform project & task manager, it would quickly spiral out of control and become a mess of unassigned or forgotten tasks and ideas.

On the other hand, if the process of entering and managing these tasks was onerous, it just wouldn't be done.

Todoist fills a 'sweet spot' for us between ease & capabilities.
