Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Trello is being used across the whole organization, to better label and prioritizes tasks. We actually integrate it within our company Slack, in order to get updates on tasks being done, as well as new tasks being updated on Trello by our admin. It allows our operations team to add new tasks automatically to our Slack channel to specific employees which immediately sends notifications to each employee. Also allows our employees to update us on their progress on tasks assigned.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Prioritizing tasks, using colour codes.
Drag and drop interface to move tasks along the progress funnel.
Integration with third party softwares to automate notifications to select employees.

Cons

Further integration with de-bugging tools for our dev team
Ability to notify certain employees for tasks that pertain to them only to remove clutter
Integration with Microsoft Project as well, as bizanalyst require more powerful tools

Return on Investment

Saved us time coordinating certain tasks
The free version is also robust and can be used to smaller projects
Allowed us to finish tasks quicker, as it's easier to pickup where we left off.

Usability

Very easy to create tasks, drag-and-drop organize them, as well as drag them along the completion funnel. Easy to label and create your own funnel from scratch, as well as invite users to our Trello workspace. You don't need to be a developer or tech orientated to be able to fully utilize Trello and its main feature set.

Support Rating

We have never used the support, so we can't comment on that at the moment. However they do have a multitude of support options.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's appropriate for general task delegation and prioritization. Very easy to use, and you don't have to be a "techy" to understand and use it effectively. Appropriate for small-medium sized businesses, but once you grow, you will want more powerful tools and analytics for tracking projects such as Microsoft Projects.
