Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

The TriNet team effectively trained me over the phone on the use of their platform. All of my follow-up emails and phone calls were promptly addressed with sufficient clarification. The TriNet payroll staff and account managers I have worked with are well trained, knowledgeable and professional. They have provided answers to all of my questions and aided us in establishing our company policies.
We use TriNet to provide payroll, benefits and HR services across the entire organization.

Pros

  • The TriNet payroll process is simple to use and, if there are no changes, can be completed in a few minutes.
  • The TriNet benefits are comprehensive and competitively priced.

Cons

  • Thus far, based on the services we use and the size of our company, we do not have any areas for improvement.
  • Our company is a start-up with 3 people. To date TriNet has not had a material impact on our business objectives.
I used other PEOs while employed by another company. The other company was larger with many complications related to HR issues and payroll. TriNet works fine for our current company but I do not know if they would be better or worse than the other PEOs I've used in other circumstances.
TriNet is well suited for companies that have a set periodic salary. We have no experience with commissions, hourly, or other non-recurring payroll cycles. They are also well suited for companies of all sizes based on the ease of system usage. The benefits are what we expected for a small company but they are not as robust as I have seen at larger organizations. Other plans may be available for larger clients but I don't know. Similarly, the pricing for their benefits is consistent with what I'd expect for a small company but the pricing should be better for larger organizations. Again, I do not know their pricing for larger organizations.
