Why go to TriNet?
Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
We use TriNet across our organization. We manage time-off and do our payroll through TriNet. We utilize the HR, Finance and General business support on a daily basis. Most of our employees access HR passport for their needs.
Pros
- As a manager I utilize the HR support on a regular basis. My personal contact is supportive and provides guidance and support with all employee needs. As a small business having this resource available is great.
- We utilize the time off tool and manage our time off. I like the calendar showing me who is taking time off so I have a quick glance at the upcoming months. This allows we to accurately approve pending time off requests assuring we have the necessary support staff in place.
- I go to TriNet HR Passport daily to follow up on employee needs, check payroll, time off, holiday schedule and more. It is nice to have everything there at my fingertips.
Cons
- The biggest concern for our company is that in-accessibility of HR Passport for our sight impaired staff. They are unable to access the tool. Most websites and portals are accessible to the tools we use (screen readers), and we were promised this would be resolved a few years ago. I keep hoping someone from Trinet reaches out to our organization and asks for input and support to get this in place.
- As a very small company we would go without many of the features and support provided by TriNet. The impact TriNet has had on our business is very positive and utilizing the support provided has saved us money and time.
- We are assured that we are ahead of the game on compliance and I do not need to worry about things catching us off guard because we don't have the in house resources to stay up to date on changing requirements and law changes that could impact our business.
- The only negative is the concern of our blind employees not having the access to HR passport, so we have put in place multiple work around processes things like time off approval, benefits review and sign up, reimbursements for mileage and such. I personally provide the support to my peer for all employee related HR passport needs. For instance when an employee of my peer (who is blind) requests time off I go to the manager, verbally or via email note the request and get his approval, then take care of it in HR passport.
