Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet is being used as a PEO which handles payroll and HR. It is used across the whole organization and managed by the accounting/HR/operations team.

Pros

Cons

  • It would be nice to see on the employee list when that employee was terminated
  • More filter options on the employee list
  • After we click on an employee and return to the employees list, return to page that we were on before, not to the beginning of the list
Every time we ask a question to our client partner, we expect to have a quick response. However, they send our question to another team/department, and it usually takes days or weeks to get a response from said team/department, which doesn't make our lives easier.
The portal is really helpful.

All the employee information is laid out for easy access and available all the time.
  • Hire/termination is now easier to handle and no room for errors reducing HR admin tasks
  • Payroll accuracy
  • Reporting has been made easier
Our previous process of hiring and termination was totally manual which was prone to errors on both sides.
The reporting we used in the past was very limited and didn't provide a lot of details. If we needed a more detailed report, we had to contact the account manager and it would take days until we heard from them. Having access to reports on the portal is much easy.
[It's well suited for] not having to worry about multi-state payroll
