Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet is being used by our entire operations in the USA. We use it for payroll and some of our growing Human Resource needs.
  • Response time to issues is quick and usually resolved in a satisfactory manner.
  • Access to benefits is a plus. Benefit options are varied and we would not be able to get this many options on our own.
  • I would like to see the timesheet used to be replaced or improved. It's very problematic. It's hard to save hours. Also, it does not properly sync. It's caused numerous issues including employees being paid late.
  • I would like to see TriNet offer cheaper options for medical benefits.
I don't think the strength is with the technology platform. Sometimes it isn't explained well. However, the HR processes have been explained well and the response time has been good.
TriNet is user-friendly. I have never had issues finding something on the site. Sometimes the site does crash though.
  • It has helped us to stay within HR compliance.
  • TriNet has helped us improve payroll accuracy.
  • TriNet has helped us with benefits.
  • TriNet has helped employees receive information about their benefits.
In the past, we used PayChex. One thing I liked about Paychex was they included the Independent contractors on payroll and submitted their W-2s. However, PayChex was less responsive and made critical errors that TriNet never made. We selected TriNet because they offered multiple benefit options and because we liked Transamerica. Previously, PayChex release payroll early, late and not at all. We wanted the dependability and efficiency that TriNet offered. TriNet is an A-. The other company an F.
I like the fact that TriNet has access to immigration attorneys. The attorneys have been a huge help as we navigate hiring employees who need Visas or Green Cards. Also, TriNet has served us well by having payroll, benefits, and HR under the same umbrella. I would like to see TriNet expanded to include Independent contractors (not the third-party service they use) on payroll. Also, to provide their W-2s.
