Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet across our whole organization to manage our benefits, payroll, paid time off, leave, HR paperwork, and execute our retirement deferrals. TriNet also tracks and ensures that all employees complete the required state and federal training programs. It solves our need for a full-time HR expert. They have been excellent in providing services and decreasing the time it would have taken someone in our small organization to complete paperwork, research benefits offerings, file required paperwork, etc. Plus, having them on speed dial is a lot faster than looking up answers to employee questions on reputable sources such as SHRM.
  • They staff their team with industry experts not just people with experience.
  • They have carefully thought through the online systems to make tasks simple while still providing access to all kinds of data, in all kinds of formats.
  • They adapt quickly to what is happening in the world (COVID, DEI, etc.) and provide ongoing support, policy suggestions, webinars, and ready access to their experts.
  • They source a huge number of benefit plans giving our small team the buying power as if we were a huge corporation. This leads to greater employee satisfaction with the choices offered.
  • When processing payroll, I enter a nontaxable work-from-home reimbursement for each individual employee. It would be great if I could enter this one time and have it populate the whole payroll list and then just edit the ones that need changing.
Never connected with anyone that either couldn't answer the question or didn't know exactly who to transfer me to. Their help with the technology platform has been stellar, even providing screen grabs of the system so we aren't guessing about how to follow the bulleted steps.

Any time we have a question about processes, we can easily drop an email or pick up the phone and the TriNet team is accessible and usually answers the call with the first connection - no long line of automated selections.
It just works and they listen to our suggestions for improvement.

  • Provide a triangulation of controls for payroll, bonuses, etc.
  • Increased benefits offerings.
They continuously, but not obnoxiously, send updates related to what we need to know, share with our employees, and post in our office space (or online), to ensure that we are meeting regulations as well as keeping our employees safe. They provide free webinars where we can ask questions and get feedback on ideas. They have provided sample policies that we can adjust to fit our organization's WFH or RTW efforts.
TriNet is far superior in terms of responsiveness, staffing with experts and really caring about helping their clients.
As a previous user of one of TriNet's competitors, I have used TriNet as an employee and as an administrator. As an employee, I had a medical plan issue that came up and the competitor wasn't even willing to discuss alternatives with me. Fortunately, that company moved to TriNet and their system was set up so that the concern never even arose.

Being a small organization, it isn't every year that we have someone requesting family leave for the birth and arrival of a new child. So, we don't remember all of the complex steps needed in every state. TriNet helps with every step of the process and even helps us double-check our payroll entries so that the percentages and timing are all correct.
