Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
We use TriNet as our PEO. As an employer across multiple states, we really needed to find a solution that works across the entire United States. We tried managing this ourselves initially but spent more time tracking down filings for all of the states we were in than actually doing work. We knew we needed to find a solution. We tried a few others but TriNet really met all of our needs.
When you get a specific rep, their customer service is great. However, with their TriNet 360 connect you go into a pool of folks and whichever rep is available will eventually answer your question. I asked for a specific rep and this seems to have resolved this particular issue.
The usability of TriNet is very good - the platform is super easy to use and navigate. Both from a manager and an employee status. From a manager standpoint, it's easy to navigate through all of the tasks needed to manage your staff and from an employee standpoint, it is easy to navigate through pay stubs and updating information.
yes- they provided regular updates and they keep us abreast of all COVID-19 pandemic changes that affect our staff in different states. It would be nice if the states got together on their responses - however, without that, Trinet is the next best thing. They always let us know the moment something changes.

We liked Zenefits however at the time of the review - we had more contractors than employees so wasn't able to move forward with them. Now that we have more employees than contractors, Trinet has since acquired Zenefits so hopefully some of their great features will be available. TriNet is great for larger companies.
When you get to work with a specific rep at Trinet, things run a lot smoother. They moved to a bucket group where your query goes into a pool and then a general rep eventually follows up with you - however, I asked to move back to a specific rep so that our queries are answered in a timely manner.
