Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet for our payroll and benefits in both the US and Canada. Since we are a small organization, TriNet provides us with the ability to provide excellent benefits to our employees which is a valuable recruiting and retention tool. TriNet also provides expertise in payroll related matters.

  • I would be nice if TriNet returned to the old model with one point of contact
  • Sometimes when calling in with an ongoing issue although notes are there you need to explain the problem multiple times because different people are picking up the call
For the most part, TriNet customer service is helpful. However, it is difficult not to have a single point of contact. It requires that you start from the beginning each time you call with the same issue.
Very easy to use and can be self taught
  • Because we are able to provide better benefits this is a retention and recruiting tool

We use Bamboo HR for our global HR tracking on pay and performance, but TriNet is far and above the payroll and benefits side of things
TriNet is well suited for smaller organizations as it provides 'buying' power with benefits. If a large organization has a full blown HR department with buying power and staff for each aspect of HR it would be less useful.
