Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We moved forward with the decision to use a PEO with our company and were recommended Trinet. In my opinion, from start to finish it was a disaster. In believe the company is so large it is difficult to get a direct answer for anything. We are now several months out of using Trinet and we've discovered Trinet failed to pay our wage withholding taxes for our 1st quarter. In my experience, after weeks of trying to get an answer they are telling us it is not their problem.

I believe everyone is nice, but no one knows anything. You are assigned a case number and rarely get a response I've found. I believe calling them is a waste of time because they just tell you that a case number was already created.
Antiquated and complicated and no one is able to assist immediately, in my opinion.

We thought the PEO route was the way to go, but for our smaller company it was a mistake I believe.
In my opinion, if you have a smaller company I would not use this company. I believe they are too large and unable to assist companies with simple requests. For example, my employees now need their W2's and are unable to login to the antiquated platform. They have to call and spend over 10 minutes resetting their accounts, and then manually go into the platform to locate their W2s.

    As a Trinet User, I can confirm the Customer's Observations, Frustrations and Regrets. As a long-term customer, I can assure anyone that TriNet Customer Service has full knowledge of all the issues and can only offer a "we are working on it" comment as they have have for years. Additionally in early 2022, TriNet quietly changed their pricing model for Health Insurance from "All our employees are in the same hugh pool" to analizing each Customer individiually into age bracket risk pool that greately increased the cost of the health insurance for more mature companies.
