Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Makes payroll and benefits super easy for a small company (and handles all tax issues). We've used other providers in the past, and none are as user friendly.
  • Handle all state tax / state tax forms / state tax registrations
  • Explaining benefits options
  • The portal is really clunky - it opens multiple browser windows, you can't always go back. Just a really bad user experience on the site
Jared Casper is great and has been super helpful on multiple issues. The vast majority of the team has been helpful. But some departments (tax credits, as an example) has been painful to work with.
Website isn't super user friendly. The solution is really good - outside the website.
  • Payroll happens smoothly - that didn't happen with our prior provider
  • Benefits are super easy

Paychex did not handle state tax, was not user friendly, and missed payroll more than once (they simply didn't process it for no reason).
When you need a vendor to handle all payroll, benefits, and tax and make it really easy for the business owner, TriNet is great.

It is expensive though, and not appropriate if you are big enough to support yourself.
