Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We utilize TriNet for our PEO system. It helps support our HR and Payroll needs, as well as compliance and general support. For payroll, we find it very helpful because anytime there needs to be an adjustment or we need something corrected, the chat feature on the website connects us with a payroll representative who assists us right away.

Pros

  • TriNet performs our payroll functions very well. They meet all of our needs in this regard.
  • For our HR needs, the platform has so many resources we haven't even been able to implement them all yet. Very impressed with their support in this area.
  • Their customer service is exceptional. Anytime we need to have a call about something, they are there to take the call right away, even if something needs to be handled by a manager.

Cons

  • The dedicated rep for each area could definitely use improvement. They are very kind, but they have not provided the insight or help we needed when we needed it.
  • We always end up using the chat feature to connect us with someone more knowledgable.
  • In most cases, the "rep" for something will just create a case so someone else has to handle the request. This causes major delays in things like payroll, so using the chat team will always get you to the right person the first time.
  • We use TriNet to maintain payroll accuracy, and I feel it does this.
  • We also do want to reduce the amount of time spent on HR tasks when possible, which it does.
  • We have been able to quickly and easily changed assigned roles when needed within the platform.
This platform is very easy to use. I have used a lot of platforms in the past, and feel this one is probably the easiest one I have found to navigate. And when my VP is unavailable or is on other tasks, I can ask a TriNet expert and they always get an answer to my question. As I have said in other areas, though, use the chat feature for this. That team is outstanding.
The support team is great. As I have said, and my VP and I have stated in many meetings with TriNet, their support is unwavering and they are also a very positive company. Their classes and trainings are on point and engaging, with instructors who really care about what they're doing.
We did not utilize the platform during the pandemic. We started using it this year, and it has been a blessing to us. We use many features, but we do not by any means use every feature yet. There are just too many to be an expert in all of them quickly.
I was not a part of the selection process, as I was brought in after we began using TriNet. I have seen others, though, and prefer this to anything else I have encountered. I very much like the look of the platform, but most importantly, the people that assist with each section are fantastic and very knowledgeable.

Yes

I absolutely will recommend TriNet anytime there is a need for a new system. Especially for small companies like ours, but also I would assume for larger companies as well, the platform and the employees provide what you need when you need it. We have been very impressed so far!
