Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)
It is used by Payroll and Human Resources. We use it to manage our employees' data and to pay employees.
We also use it for reporting and data analytics and for Recruiting and Onboarding.
Our employees use the Online and Mobile app to review their information and to manage their paid time off.

- Their system is very user friendly.
- They have good support and are responsive with informed assistance.
- Adaptable- we have been able to use the system to overcome issues within the company.
- Tax filing service is not the best, they are not as responsive and as informed as we would expect.
- Customization can be very expensive.
- Mobile app could be more developed and offer more features.
- Employee Self-Service was a big step up for communication between company and employee, previously limited and UKG gave a tool to improve this.
- Paid Time Off was handled manually and UKG provides a tool to manage and track the PTO. Employees really appreciated the access and information available.
- Management was impressed with the level of detail we could provide on our reporting and thus have a basis for better decision making.
Company tried moving to Paylocity prior to UKG, but it did not have the ability to handle the data and organizational set up of the company.
UKG was able to offer a better system for our needs and the support they provided allowed us to develop new processes to increase our usage of the system to help the company work better and more efficiently.

Setting up and managing the PTO in UKG was a major development for the company and we had a support rep who stayed with us to ensure that we were able to overcome our company issues to make it work.
We had a lot of variables to deal with from the company's multiple policies and it required some inventive use of the Earnings and Expressions to get the policies to work correctly. I was impressed that they continued to look for solutions even when it seemed impossible.
The employees and managers were very happy with the results when we were able to implement the online PTO management and requests, as we were using paper requests and had no company wide PTO data base.
