Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready
We use the full suite to manage our external contingent workforce. The customizations on time and onboarding are critical to the services we sell to our clients. We do have some system limitations due to our unique staffing needs. Most have been resolved by customizing the system, but we have not been able to resolve processing past pay period timecards and bypassing logins for our external timecard approvers.

- I would like to be able to process past pay period timecards. In staffing, we need to be able to process a prior pay period timecard with the current timecard. This is impossible.
- Modernizing onboarding to include video tutorials, and a better UI as workers get stuck a lot [...] requires a lot of IT troubleshooting from my HR team.
- I would like it if it could modernize the branding opportunities. We have to use noreply@kronos.com in order for our reports to be received. We can't include images in messages/notifications unless they have a URL from an image hosting site [that] is outdated.
- Onboarding customizations are critical to our services. We cannot operate without custom OB packages.
- We are able to integrate data relatively easily between our custom portal and UKG Ready, saving a lot of time and providing a quicker service to our clients.
- We cannot process payroll without several manual steps as we are in staffing and can't be locked down to one pay period only.
- The UI is not super user-friendly for an employee level, so we do waste a lot of our time troubleshooting the system.
I reviewed over 11 similar platforms and picked UKG Ready 2x at different companies due to 2 factors - 1) There is a full suite available. Some platforms only offer benefits or HR and not payroll. This impacts our employee experience as well as makes it more difficult to manage. 2) The pricing of the modules is more customizable. Other platforms required us to pay for services we would not use and the cost was significantly higher. UKG Ready allows us to not pick performance management, leave, or recruiting. The cost for the HR module does include some services we don't use, but the cost is still reasonable compared to other competitors' HR modules.
