Overall Satisfaction with Vena Solutions
We currently use this as our primary budgeting tool each year, and then also for all of our financial reporting. We do budgeting for close to 400 different locations or departments across 4 different legal entities on a monthly basis. During this process, we use Vena Solutions to gather input from various departments throughout the organization that feed into the rolled-up totals. We also then use it to produce the financials that we use internally and send externally.
- Excellent consolidation based on hierarchies.
- Incredibly fast cloud-based data warehouse.
- Easy to use and friendly interface, Excel integration.
- For us, labor modeling isn't very intuitive, but this may be our industry.
- When support is needed, it's sometimes difficult to get to the right person.
- The solution seems to be heavy on consultant time. We are extremely lucky with our staff to be able to handle most new designs and customization.
- Reduced our annual budgeting process by 50%

We were using Dynamic Budgets before we moved over to Vena and researched many, many, many other products before settling on Vena in the end. One of the things that quickly knocked out other vendors was our unique fiscal calendar. We have 13 periods (4 weeks each) and that additional period was just not an option with most products at the time we were looking for a new product.
