Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard
Our agency uses Vidyard as part of our own sales process, as part of our client services offering, and for internal communications and training. We also support multiple clients using Vidyard (including the native HubSpot integration) for similar use cases. The product plays an important role in humanizing our sales process and streamlining support and training (especially on complex martech products).
Pros
- Allows you to create personalized videos in seconds
- Easy to share videos and track viewer behavior
- Easy to use, but can drive a real change in mindset around video for sales
Cons
- Some awkward UI issues
- Some frustrating limitations in the free HubSpot version
- More sales meetings booked
- Improved efficiency in support and training

There are a number of viable alternatives to Vidyard, but my experience is that none have the same razor-sharp focus on the role of video in solving common sales and marketing challenges, or the same depth of functionality. More pragmatically, many of our clients have existing investments in HubSpot, which offers a free native integration.
