Overall Satisfaction with Vimeo
We used Vimeo Ondemand to sell access to high quality mountain films.
- Easy to get going
- Cost - expensive for what you get
- Analytics - very hard to get information about sales or users
- Customer service - help desk [seems] weak and customer service essentially [feels] non-existent
- It got our events rolling
- Managing user experience was difficult, time-consuming and frustrating
- We are very happy to have moved on
Cinesend is a MUCH slicker platform. It integrates well with our website, and provides a much better branded experience. It costs slightly less, and provides much better access to information and user control.
If you have a reasonable level of website knowledge in your company, and gross over $50,000 per year, [I feel] it is a no-brainer to go with CineSend (or almost any other competitor) over Vimeo.
