Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
We are a Managed Service provider that utilizes WatchGuard AuthPoint in many of our client's environments to protect VPS (IKE and SSL) as well as administrative access to devices and servers.
Pros
- Push notification works well when you use the AuthPoint application.
- OTP passwords work well as a backup method.
- The application is an easy install on endpoints.
Cons
- Would like for it to integrate with Microsoft Authenticator instead of using their own application.
- Need to support more secure methods like number matching and/or facial recognition.
- I am not sure how you can place a value on security, but it protects our business from remote attackers.
Utilizing AuthPoint along with the ability to block IPs in the WatchGuard firewalls for X number of logon attempts has helped secure our clients environments.

We are currently not utilizing the password manager for us or our clients. I will have to take a look as I did not realize this was part of our AuthPoint licensing.
We have not had an instance where this has been beneficial. We have also checked haveibeenpawned for our clients, and it is normally the same result. The passwords that were compromised were old and not recent.
They are very similar. There are more direct integrations available with Duo.
